Biggest influences in BMX:
Chris doyle, Joe Rich, Van Homan and Morgan Wade.
Where are you living at the moment? And where did you grow up?
Currently living in Portland Victoria, its the bottom of Vic, it's out of the way so not many people know of the place, i grew up here but I've had a 12 year stint away working.
What does a regular Saturday out on the bike usually consist of?
If it's my weekend with my children (Van and Caleb) we usually go for a ride down the beach area here and always pull in for some ice creams haha. Or we drive over to Mt Gambier for a ride, if I dont have the kids I'll try travel somewhere to ride or have a big session at our local bowl! (Best bowl in Vic!)
What are you doing for work these days?
I'm currently a crane operator/rigger at the Portland smelter.
Favourite places you’ve ridden over the years:
Clints backyard has everything I've dreamed of so that has to be number 1, the Portland bowl is so damn good! You can go big or just cruise and theres so many lines.
What are your interests outside of Riding?
Recently I got back into bodyboarding since we have amazing surf down here, also dont mind long distance running.
Tell us something about your local scene:
We dont have many BMXer's down here, I actually spend most of my time riding with my best mate Robbie who shreds on the blades! Fred is another close mate who skateboards, we honestly have the best time and push each other and just stoked all round.
Karl from Mt Gambier often comes over to spend the day at the bowl to.
What’s your “go-to” trick you just have to do every session out on your bike?
If I'm riding my local I’ll fufanu the sub we have, and I do that because it’s definitely a trick I have to respect haha
What motivates you to go out and ride all the time?
My 5 year old twin boys Van and Caleb.
Favourite Product that you run?
I've had an S&M M.O.D frame for around 6 months, the rear is a little shorter than my last frame (T-1 Barcode) and it’s definitely helped me with getting back some older lip tricks I havn't done in a while. I love how clean the frame looks to!
